Tom Howes (USA)
Is the driving force behind the individual touch we offer veterans and spouses attending our events. Tom is a full-time volunteer and specialist in military recruiting. He personally coaches every MOJO candidate, reviews every resume, builds confidence, prepares job seekers for the career conference. In his corporate career, Tom spent 22 years at Texas Instruments as a manufacturing engineer and consultant developing their military hiring practices. He was subsequently retained by Raytheon to recruit veterans for their Network Centric Systems group. Tom graduated ROTC from Norwich University, and served in various command positions in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Africa. He resides in Austin with his wife Lynn who also volunteers at our MOJO events nationally. Contact Tom
Rich Register (USMA 1971)
Is a volunteer career coach, resume consultant and logistics manager at our MOJO hiring events. After graduating West Point, he served five years in the Army as a Field Artillery Officer and earned an MBA from the University of Oklahoma. Before retiring from the private sector, Rich spent 32 years as an Information Technology Design Specialist at Procter & Gamble. His roles included Laptop Development, IT & Finance Executive, and North American Customer Profitability Design Specialist. Rich also served as Team Lead for the P&G Military Recruiting Program. Dan Piontkowski (USNA ‘00)
Is a former Naval Officer who began his military career as an enlisted Marine, earning an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy with his last tour as a Navy Recruiter at Penn State University. Dan is a recognized recruiting professional who developed candidate pipelines and veteran focused campaigns for Amazon, Booz Allen Hamilton, HP. In his role at MOJO, he facilitates Company Presentations, Employer Panels, and our Recruiter Roundtable mentoring employers new to military hiring. Dan is currently the Director, Client Delivery for PeopleScout North America, and resides in Fort Worth with his wife, Amy and their two daughters. Contact Dan
Kristin Dana brings 10 years of experience in military recruiting and hiring events. As a former Director at MOJO, she now volunteers whenever possible bringing her winning attitude and leadership to our career fairs. Her previous role was Official Liaison for the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association, where she supported the Brigade of Midshipman and Alumni Chapters nationally. Kristin is a military spouse and recently launched her arts & crafts business “Bottles by the Beach” while living in SoCal with husband Phillip Dana, USNA ‘98. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Coastal Geology, and a M.S. in Coastal Geology from the University of South Florida.
Ashley joined Military MOJO after spending three years at Fort Shafter Army Base in Hawaii where her husband Kyle was stationed. Their next assignment was Fort Meade, Maryland which brought them back to family and friends in their hometown of Annapolis. Ashley devotes her full-time career to financial planning and investments for small businesses at her family accounting firm.
